Will AI agents destroy the app we're working tirelessly to build?

With the rise of AI agents (software systems powered by AI that can work in the background while you sleep), people are saying that software platforms are dead.

You will no longer need a user interface to control an application.

Instead, you'll interact with your AI via messages or voice and it will control your apps for you.

But I don't agree.

If you've ever had to try and sit on a phone and describe physical things with words - you know how painful it is.

Humans are visual. We have two eyes for a reason.

You know the old saying "If a picture is worth a thousand words a minute of video is worth 1.8 million words."

Software platforms will still have an important role as a place you can quickly see a lot of information.

But it will also be important for software to be able to interact with AI agents.

A well thought out UI is going to be more important than ever in the age of AI.
