This is day 785 of building a software business and things are going... great.

This is day 785 of building a software business and things are going... great.

Here are the 3 things I learned this week.

Builders Making Content

This week I sat down with Turnberry Studio to chat about their content strategy for their brand.

The first thing we spoke about was establishing their brand positioning.

What you stand for and what you're against is extremely important.

If you try to appeal to everyone (even in your content) you'll appeal to no one.

Too Much Content Feedback

We wanted our content to perform better so we reached out to a bunch specialists last year.

Everyone had an opinion.

The process became super stale and it drained all the fun for me.

If you ask the best in the business, the way to win in content is to find something you can keep making for the long term.

The only unique advantage you have is your story.

Analytics Progress

We're continue to work on Analytics in Clipflow and it's coming together piece by piece.

This week I finished LinkedIn analytics which means we now have YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn all feeding data back into Clipflow.

It's now even easier to see what content is working and what you need to make more.

Next up is TikTok which we'll hopefully finish very soon.
